travisseitler    Wednesday, Apr 19, 2006, 01:26:15 PM  The relational dynamics here are incredible. I really did stop thinking of the Ducks as ducks.
Alberto    Sunday, May 28, 2006, 08:35:06 PM  Fascinante!
JAlbertsen    Tuesday, Oct 30, 2007, 12:58:24 PM  Very touching story - and nice to see Matilda again!

Stenens vise    Wednesday, Jun 11, 2008, 08:24:34 PM  Beutiful! Just beutiful! Såhär ska en serie göras!
Intrigerna som ändras mellan karaktärerna är underbara.

Bästa Rosan någonsin!
Best Rosa story ever
DarkAsh    Monday, Aug 4, 2008, 01:25:49 PM  A modern day classic.
Dia-Dia    Monday, Aug 4, 2008, 01:25:49 PM  If only Rosa didn't have such a stiff drawing style...
gorjan10    Monday, Aug 4, 2008, 01:25:54 PM  excelent plot and story and I like the emotions shown between Scrooge and Matilda. Very heartpounding reunion.
new_amz    Monday, Aug 4, 2008, 01:26:02 PM  This story hadn't a significate without "Life and Times". This is only the reason becouse I take this vote.
pahan    Monday, Aug 4, 2008, 01:26:03 PM  The best comic of Don Rosa.
Sprea    Monday, Aug 4, 2008, 01:26:08 PM  Really one of Don Rosa's best.
This is as for me the conclusion of The Life and Times. One of Don Rosa's best.
Jimbo Slip    Tuesday, Mar 9, 2010, 06:17:07 PM  Ever the dramatist, Don Rosa outlines the reunion between Scrooge and Matilda in a sentimentally trite, Hollywood-ian way. His obsession with the "Indiana Jones"-ian adventure, and the "Da Vinci Code"-ian symbolic decoding posturing, is also reaching its limits here, i.e. we've seen all of this before in better form.
Appie Aap    Tuesday, Feb 22, 2011, 05:59:36 PM  Sometimes too overtly dramatic, but the story is still very good, with some excellent twists. I like the artwork too. Good to see Mathilda again!
themisgreek    Saturday, Apr 23, 2011, 07:54:42 PM  My favourite story with Ducks and undoubtely one of the best ever written!!The emotions it causes you are magnificent!!!
montybali@hotmail.com    Sunday, Sep 18, 2011, 03:00:05 PM  My favourite story by Don Rosa and one of the best Disney stories ever...as posted above, the relationship dynamics ARE incredible!!!!!!
Scr$$geMcDuck    Tuesday, Oct 25, 2011, 08:35:03 PM  Fantastic story...Don Rosa is a worthy heir to the great Carl Barks...
paperinocchio    Friday, Jan 13, 2012, 01:49:25 PM  Fantastica!
hurriflash    Sunday, Mar 25, 2012, 01:43:38 PM  No contest! This is, by far, my story never told in my opinion
antonyroma    Friday, Dec 28, 2012, 02:32:06 AM  The ideal closing of Scrooge epos, strongly linked to the last page of "Only a poor old man". Scrooge reveals things that he has never told, talks openly about his nephew, exposes the reasons of his avarice, and shows his real soul, as it was conceived by Carl Barks. The better representation of this wonderful character. A masterpiece!
Evan    Wednesday, Jan 2, 2013, 12:11:25 AM  Amazing! Touching, action-packed, historic, incredible art, and by a fantastic author. Best Rosa story, if not Duck story, ever!
jonathand    Monday, Jan 28, 2013, 06:54:34 PM  This story is maybe Don Rosa's best story ever. Amazing.
seeilaah@gmail.com    Saturday, Feb 9, 2013, 10:35:53 PM  Such an amazing explanation of all the things:
Why Scrooge keep the "money" well enclosured, why he always travel with Donald and the boys, and a lot of links through the stories from Barks and Rosa. The final story to link everything, the final masterpiece. Congratulations Barks and Rosa.
willem    Friday, Feb 15, 2013, 01:02:58 PM  One of my favorites, but Rosa's drawing style have been better.
scrooge$    Thursday, Feb 21, 2013, 04:43:25 PM  The best story ever made!
canardeur    Friday, Mar 8, 2013, 11:00:02 AM  La meilleure histoire de Don Rosa !
Donald.totusen    Saturday, Mar 9, 2013, 01:40:53 AM  I think tvist is the best story by Don Rosa.
mrDovydas    Saturday, Apr 13, 2013, 04:08:52 PM  Probably the best Disney's comic I've ever read.

dannycomicbo    Wednesday, Oct 16, 2013, 11:18:34 AM  Non avrei mai pensato di commuovermi davanti a un fumetto sui paperi. Grazie Don.
paperalex_blanc    Saturday, Jul 19, 2014, 07:51:02 PM  Tremendamente potente. Una delle migliori di Don Rosa. Unica.
Gotham    Friday, Aug 15, 2014, 06:29:24 PM  Don Rosa on his top!
drgrillo    Sunday, Sep 21, 2014, 10:23:49 PM  Disney, Templários, conspiração. Don Rosa adicionou tudo nesta história. Fantástica.
mimim    Sunday, Oct 26, 2014, 02:44:02 PM  Incredible, intelligent, suspenseful, heartbreaking and at times funny... The summit of Don Rosa's works!
Alex P. McDuck    Thursday, Mar 19, 2015, 07:56:16 PM  meine Lieblingsgeschichte meines Lieblingskünstlers :-)

dave_mala@alice.it    Sunday, May 15, 2016, 09:37:52 AM  The best Don Rosa story. Maybe the best Disney ever made.
Lafayet    Saturday, Jun 4, 2016, 07:50:15 AM  One of the best stories ever. Barks is nowhere near to Don Rosa's level. This story would deserve a much better rating.
XGorthanX    Thursday, Jun 30, 2016, 08:10:49 PM  La miglior storia di Rosa
Asteria    Sunday, Mar 19, 2017, 11:26:12 AM  This story is not flawless. However, I do enjoy the adventure and the touching sentimental moment. The ending is kind of predictable, but still really warmhearted. And no, i don't think this is a sad story.
katerini123    Thursday, Jun 8, 2017, 01:15:29 PM  A MASTERPIECE ! i am sure that this word describes better the whole story. Absolutely, one of the best stories ever, far better from Barks' classics!
Monkey_Feyerabend    Wednesday, Aug 16, 2017, 12:01:53 AM  Ok, we all agree, it's very touching, it's a masterpiece, and so on. But the most epic part is Donald breaking the Graal XD
tiogilito    Monday, Apr 16, 2018, 02:55:30 PM  OBRA MAESTRA!!!
95masa56    Monday, Oct 22, 2018, 09:19:04 PM  This story always moves me. My personal Don Rosa favourite.
Ragz    Thursday, Dec 27, 2018, 12:27:01 PM  This has got to be one of my favourite Rosa stories! The mystery, the humour and of course the family drama are executed wonderfully.
tboxman    Saturday, Jan 26, 2019, 02:23:31 PM  Best US story ever written
joachimramlau    Tuesday, Jul 16, 2019, 05:19:05 PM  One of the greatest Donald Duck-comics of all time... is a mystery fo me, why it not higher rated.
10/10
Sergei    Saturday, May 30, 2020, 06:01:20 PM  Tolle Geschichte!
Alexistss    Wednesday, Jun 3, 2020, 07:00:09 AM  I agree with @Lafayet Don Rosa is so much better than Barks in all levels art and writing! Barks was good at creating new characters that could become famous and used by other artists (like Rosa who used all Barks' characters much better than him) but the truth is that he wasn't very good at writing especially adventure stories... (But again those funny 10-pages stories he made are masterpieces) And in art Barks' first stories were like he was trying to copy Gottfredson's style in Ducks universe. He became better later but still he wasn't much good... And he didn't draw any details at all! At the other side Rosa create a story behind the story! An example: In the story "The Cowboy Captain Of the Cutty Sark" in the 15th page in the 4th panel you can see a mouse putting cotton on his ears (protection from the sound of the explotion) in the next panel a cat is ready to haunt it then in the next page the explotion happens and the cat shocked from the sound stayed there like she was burned and that little story continues until the last panel in 17th page! (but we can see again the cat in the next page's second panel for the last time)
marioandreaaldeghi    Monday, Aug 10, 2020, 06:27:43 PM  Struggente e commovente il finale.
atobibass    Monday, May 2, 2022, 08:22:21 AM  Definetly one of the best comics of Don Rosa
