Nuff Said. | | m3gr1ml0ck | | | | Thursday, Sep 15, 2016, 12:56:39 PM | A una prima lettura, risulta "solo" molto gradevole, con alcuni passaggi veramente suggestivi (le radici del tronco che si levano dalle acque, il salone principale della Drennan Whyte sepolto sotto metri di fango, i battelli a vapore che competono sul fiume). C'è una trama ben congegnata, con una caccia al tesoro articolata e dall'esito assai gustoso (il pozzo in ferro che è un fumaiolo). C'è un'arte accurata, meticolosa, documentata e radicata nella grafica dell'universo Disney come la sceneggiatura lo è nei concetti.
E' inquietante la sensazione di dejù vu che danno le citazioni a "La regina del cotone": familiari nella modalità e nel contesto, eppure associate a personaggi che non sono gli stessi... E c'è anche spazio per parecchi altri omaggi, a partire da Cacciavite Pitagorico a testa in giù, con "Mani Buche" che parla di un uomo che si tuffò nell'acqua così fangosa da restare bloccato metà dentro e metà fuori (come Archimede nella storia breve di Barks in cui tenta di nuotare con mezzi scientifici).
A una seconda lettura, si impone invece con forza e fascino il progetto narrativo di questa storia, con il suo appassionato omaggio alle epocali pietre miliari Barksiane, studiate fino alla singola vigneta, e citate con grande entusiasmo ed intelligenza narrattiva: è davvero "history in the making", ciò a cui si assiste qui. | | Sergei | | | | Thursday, Jun 18, 2020, 01:06:43 PM | Eine tolle Geschichte.
