sigvald | | | | Saturday, Apr 19, 2008, 01:06:59 AM | Good story, but it's a little to loong, and the ending is a bit to unclear. |
Dia-Dia | | | | Monday, Aug 4, 2008, 01:25:49 PM | NOT Scarpa's best story. Kids under 10 will simply not understand what it is really about, since the subjects "stock exchange speculation" and "scam" are treated in a hardly children-friendly way. In two of his very, very, VERY best stories, Scarpa treated similarly complicated subjects like "unemployement" and "insurance fraud" (in "Topolino e il canguro di corallo") or "advertising" and "transvestism" [!!!] (in "Topolino e il gigante della pubblicità") with much more ease. |

seeilaah@gmail.com | | | | Saturday, Mar 2, 2013, 11:53:42 PM | Epic is not enough. Sad that it ends with an "open" final. It deserved a bit more pages...
Also great drawings. So sad the Italians had changed so drastically their drawing style... |
Ramiro | | | | Friday, May 10, 2013, 04:58:28 PM | Fantastica, non ci sono aggettivi per descriverla!/Fantastic, there are no objectives to describe it! |
M3Gr1ml0ck | | | | Thursday, Oct 17, 2013, 10:05:16 AM | Meravigliosa, sublime, inarrivabile, epica.
Fantastico e lunghissimo flashback i stile cinematografico.

brando90 | | | | Wednesday, Apr 2, 2014, 01:45:30 AM | Una storia ben realizzata.
Rivera07 | | | | Tuesday, Sep 2, 2014, 06:37:22 PM | How can this naive story get such high rank. It's decent but what about one of the most childish things u see Scrooge do? Not just that he has 99% controlling shares of business already but can't somehow make a decision to expand on his own. No, he then agrees to sell his ENTIRE LIFE's fortune to his best known thieves for remaining 1% of shareholding without even inspecting the business stock first! Seriously? |

tonkduck | | | | Monday, Feb 19, 2018, 10:02:59 PM | Scarpa at his best. Very original story with some complex ideas, and great focus on the highs and lows of Scrooge's life. The art is top quality, and the interesting ending is masterfully done. 9/10 |
Julius Spectaculus | | | | Wednesday, Jun 27, 2018, 01:09:53 PM | IMO, a deserved classic. 9/10 |

atobibas1 | | | | Friday, Aug 11, 2023, 02:56:04 PM | This is maybe one of the best Italian Disney Comics ever created. You could argue that Scrooge's actions are a bit out of character, but I would argue the contrary. The ending is amazing. I guess the art is only just alright. And the story might be a bit longer than it should've. Still, I find it hard not to give this a high ranking. - 10/10 |
Baturzo 82 | | | | Monday, Feb 19, 2024, 04:58:07 PM | Una storia perfetta? |
