After that, the story gets weaker and more aimless, with more conventional Disney cliches. The last 20 pages have some memorable moments, but the ending is definitely weak. The artwork is marvelous. Very detailed panels and effective character expressions, especially in the first half of the story. |

Non è facile riportare sulle pagine di un fumetto per ragazzi le immagini dure ed aspre della guerra. I due artisti ci riescono alla perfezione, senza banalizzarla ma anche senza trasferirne un ovvio peso che su questo tipo di lettura sarebbe fuori luogo.
Così facendo ci insegnano come realizzare una perfetta Parodia Disneyana.
Rileggerla è sempre un piacere e le pagine scorrono una dietro l'altra nonostante la lunghezza dell'opera. |
