The psychological characterisation of Donald and the nephews is very sophisticated. In particular LD&H are at the same time innocent and mature. I also like very much the Scrooge of this story. He behaves very similarly to Donald, and this fact triggers a couple of memorable fights! |

| Baturzo 82 | | | | Monday, Jun 5, 2023, 12:13:51 PM | Storia dal soggetto semplice, ma che trova fortuna nella suggestiva ambientazione natalizia e in un paio di scene memorabili: quella dello scontro titanico tra le due scavatrici manovrate da Paperino e Paperone, e quella in cui Paperino si traveste da Babbo Natale, con un’imbottitura di ceci, che poi iniziano a gonfiarsi per essere entrati a contatto con l’acqua. Fa invero un po’ specie vedere Paperone spendere e spandere i propri dollari, ma all’epoca il personaggio non era ancora quell’avaraccio che conosciamo oggi. Disegni ottimi in ogni componente: personaggi, scenografie, scene d’azione (eccellente quella dello scontro tra le due scavatrici). |
