The story is adventurous, full of suspense, consistent, but still relying strongly on funny gags and a kind of gently surrealist humor.
The drawing is simply the best I have ever seen in a comic: very dynamic, beautifully cartoonish...and iconic of course!
Finally, the satirical tone towards police and rich people is gentle but corrosive too!
It is sad to read comments on them of the type "oh that was good, but too repetitive". It is comic strips! Hence it is not that the author was repeating too much the same jokes. Rather, you are reading it wrong. |

Seven Ghosts is really spot on with Mickey, Donald, and Goofy's dynamic, and does a great job showing how much they contrast. |

Senza queste storie non esisterebbe il Topolino di oggi.
Tuttavia la trama ha alcune pecche.
I fantasmi cadono un po' troppo facilmente nell'inganno di Topolino.
Inoltre la narrazione e' eccessivamente lunga.
Avrebbe dovuto concludersi con l'arresto della banda dei contrabbandieri.
Che senso ha tutto quello che viene dopo?
I disegni sono splendidi, inquietantemente fascinosi nel tratteggiare i fantasmi.
