YF  1110Mickey Mouse and His Friends daily strips
(Source Alberto Becattini, 2001-12-28) Dates refer to when the writer/artists actually took over, *not* to release dates. At that time dailies were produced six weeks ahead of release date. Disney says that Williams/Svendsen took over in April. This means on a Monday, which could have been April 6, 13, 20 or 27. I do believe their first strip was released in May. April 6 = May 11-16 releases; April 13 = May 18-23 releases; April 20 = May 25-30 releases. I do not think they took over on April 27 = June 1-6 releases.

YL  5664True Life Adventures
(Source Alberto Becattini, 2000-09-06) The True Life Adventures daily panel ran from March 14, 1955 until April 14, 1973. It was written by former animator/director/story-man Dick Huemer, and drawn by George Wheeler. Bob Karp provided some gags during the years. In the US, several TLA panels were reprinted in Walt Disney Comics Digest from 1968 onwards.
The first 24 strips (March 14, 1955 to April 9, 1955) are numbered from #1 to #24. (All copyrighted 1954). From April 11, 1955 everything is normal (Copyright 1955 with the date 4-11).
