en			Minnie is named sole heir to her Uncle Mortimer's estate, including a gold mine in Death Valley. Sylvester Shyster, the estate's crook executor, and Peg-Leg Pete, his none-too-bright henchman, plot to steal the map to the mine. Mickey and Minnie are aided by a mysterious character named "The Fox". (history)

de			Minni wird als Alleinerbin ihres verstorbenen Onkels Mortimer eingesetzt, Advokat Wolf will sie allerdings dazu zwingen, ihm die Villa zu verkaufen. Micky erfährt durch ein mysteriöses Phantom "Flederohr" davon und versucht, das Geheimnis der Villa Mortimer zu ergründen. Dort wird Minni von einer Bande mit den wichtigen Charakteren Rechtsanwalt Wolf und Kater Karlo gefangen und sie zwingen Minni abermals, ihnen die Villa zu überschreiben. Es gelingt den beiden Mäusen nochmals zu fliehen, woraufhin Flederohr ihnen den entscheidenden Tipp gibt. In einem Käse finden sie den Lageplan zu einer Goldmine im Tal des Todes, der ihnen allerdings von den beiden Verbrechern geraubt wird. Sofort nehmen Micky und Minni die Verfolgung auf. (history)
