Description
Language code Description
en Mickey and Goofy want a fishing vacation. Goofy picks a place that, as it turns out, hasn't had a guest in two years. The road to the Whispering Pines resort is difficult and there are suspicious incidents, such as a freshly cut tree falling across their path, a ghostly figure in the night, a speed boat that nearly hits them while fishing, and a rock through the window with a message to get out. Mickey and Goofy find a hidden lair where shadowy characters have discovered uranium on the resort property and want the lodge owner to sell them the resort and its land. Mickey is captured trying to escape, but Goofy returns to the resort and, with at the aid of the lodge owner, Mrs. Pullet, runs back to Mickey. All three are captured. When the crooks try to steal the rowboat the mailman lassos them. The story ends happily with the crooks captured and goofy sleeping outside on a hammock with a skunk that he mistook for a cat.
