en Dominique Destine is invited to Doña Anapaula Aguilar's mansion to see her collection of artefacts, one of which is a lancehead that says to has belonged to the norse pagan god Odin. Domini offers to by the lancehead, but it is not for sale, therefore she steals it instead. Meanwhile Goliath are reaping fame from his popularity among the humans of the city - the other garoyles of the clan are preparig for a ceremony, except for demona who is making a business deal with Magnanimous... So now there is a quest for the Hand of Valmont.
