history 		The tale whisks us back to the 1800s to the “birth” of Gladstone Gander’s mother, Daphne, to reveal for the first time the origins of the family’s exceptional luck, bestowed upon his mother and later inherited by Gladstone. At another moment in time, Donald and Gladstone are shown as youngsters to further reveal how it came to be that on only one day out of the year—on his birthday—Gladstone’s luck mysteriously and utterly forsakes him!
GL remembers why his birthday is the only day where he is unlucky. And we see how he tries to get away from the planned party

history 		Tout le monde prépare la fête pour l'anniversaire de Gontran (et Donald comme toujours un piège foireux). Mais le principal intéressé, comme il le fait toujours depuis qu'il est enfant, le jour de son anniversaire où la foudre lui est tombé dessus, ce qui fait que le seul jour de l'année où il est malchanceux est celui-ci, se défile. Mais sa malchance le poursuivant, il se retrouve à la ferme de Grand-mère Donald où doit se déroulé la fête, puis avoue tout à sa famille.
