| en | In this sequel to the Barks classic "The Golden Helmet," Gladstone Gander wins a fishing trip to the coast of Labrador, Canada and takes Donald with him to “handle the icky worms and fish.” True to form, Gladstone promptly hooks the Golden Helmet, discovered buried long ago by the Viking, Olaf the Blue, and then lost overboard into the sea! Meanwhile, back at the Woodchucks lodge, the nephews, while researching the origins of the original Junior Woodchuck Guidebook, find stuck to the inside of the back cover of the ancient book the long-lost charts of Christopher Columbus! With the aid of these charts Donald and his nephews again try to save North America from Azure Blue and Lawyer Sharky. (history) | |||

Sharky, l'ex avvocato di Blue, trova una reliquia di un monaco irlandese arrivato in America prima di Olaf il Blu. Ora anche lui vuole diventare imperatore dell'America, ma i nipotini scoprono successivamente una ruota traccia del viaggio del cinese Hui Shen nel V secolo e poi una mappa in pelle fenicia. Essa viene presa però da Blue e Sharky, ma i nipotini dimostrano poi come i fenici non abbiano toccato la terra americana ma fossero stati gli indiani d'America a tracciarla, quindi non valeva niente come manufatto. I due finiscono in galera per debiti e nel frattempo i paperi scoprono che la mappa in pelle guardata in un altro senso rappresenta l'Europa: gli indiani erano già stati lì e l'Europa sarebbe loro, se solo i nipoti non fossero sicuri che le autorità europee abolissero la legge della scoperta per sicurezza!
