Yes, I know, I wrote it in my first reply, but that file is in Italian so using there "statua" is correct, imho, and there are many other similar cases as "quadro" or "sogno".
I found this issue:

where "cover" in the [xref] of element 'a' changes changing the language for English, Franch and Italian but not for German... so 'our problem' could depend by the missing connection between "statua" and "statue" in the translation file.
I added them in the "refreasons-it" file, we will see tomorrow if something will be changed ;-)
