immaginario. Questo basterebbe a renderla una bella storia, ma credo che uno dei meriti del grande Maestro veneziano, al pari di aver creato storie meravigliose e leggendarie, sia quello di aver arricchito il panorama dei personaggi Disney con figure ogni volta spettacolari, talmente perfettamente ideate che sembrano esistere da sempre.

Although I find Brigitta a flat out creepy stalker and this is her first appearance, the story itself is imaginative and fun. Ignoring the highly immoral intended-extinction-of-animals aspect (I guess PETA wouldn’t like this one), it’s just a comic, after all – and a memorable one at that. 8/10 |

Meravigliosa, a tal proposito, la sequenza con protagonista Paperone che, sul finire della storia, rimasto solo nella sua dimora, ripensando al destino dell'ultimo Balabú decide di gettare alle ortiche tutto quello che ha speso e le peripezie affrontate in terre selvagge ed inospitali per trarlo in salvo, in nome di quel suo "maledetto cuore di pasta frolla"! Graficamente parlando, il disegno guizzante e vivido del Maestro veneziano asseconda in maniera sublime un plot memorabile ed avvincente. |
