Ma proprio il numero di trovate risulta eccessivo, almeno quando entra in scena l'equivoco dei marziani che risulta a posteriori parecchio ingiustificato. L'impressione è quella di momenti con "troppa carne al fuoco" che compromettono la scansione narrativa: lo stesso Barks se ne accorse, anche se forse troppo tardi, e infatti omise una sequenza di spiegazioni che ostacolava il ritmo della narrazione, ma ormai era tardi per rifare tutto; in particolare, stride parecchio la "rivelazione" dell'aspetto del professore, dato che dopo tanto parlare di alieni, di colpo questi compare in una vignetta con ambientazione separata dalle scene precedenti, e con monologo già in corso, spingendoci a chiederci "e questo chi è?".
Per fortuna, a compensare ci sono gli elementi della polvere d'oro, della solita bellezza dei panorami marini e isolani, della fascinosa pietrificazione e della schermaglia coi Bassotti. | | missdisneypl | | | | Monday, Aug 31, 2020, 02:30:56 PM | 9/10
31.08.2020 | | Tregua78 | | | | Sunday, Feb 6, 2022, 03:49:34 PM | Se le premesse sono intriganti e l'inizio di questa avventura stuzzica la fantasia, non si può dire altrettanto della parte centrale e cardine di questa storia che si affievolisce e non mantiene le promesse.
Certo resta un soggetto originale e pieno di trovate, come era nello stile di Barks, ma tra cavoli, alieni che in realtà non esistono e bassotti ingenui, non si rimane entusiasmati come di fronte ad altre sue opere.
E' molto divertente comunque l'imbarazzo provato da Paperone quando gli viene chiesto (sia dal medico che dal professore): "Per caso vi rotolate nell'oro??"
| | Baturzo 82 | | | | Thursday, Oct 6, 2022, 12:12:51 PM | Bellissima storia, che partendo da un simpatico incipit (Paperone ha i pori della pelle ostruiti a forza di rotolarsi nell’oro) si sviluppa poi in maniera avventurosa, alternando momenti quasi comici (i pasti a base di cavoli) ad altri di forte pathos (chi manovrerà il raggio pietrificante?), sino a sfociare in un finale convincente. Ottimi anche i disegni, sia nelle fisionomie dei personaggi sia nelle suggestive ambientazioni isolane. |
