GY and HDL leave Venice and head for Norway with the JW Guidebook in Gyro's time machine. The nefarious EE is a stowaway on board. He plans to steal both the time machine and the Guidebook and travel alone through history to find and steal ancient treasures, he has read about in the Guidebook. But they all accidentally travel to the time of the Vikings, and it's now up to Gyro and the nephews to stop the time travelling treasure thief and get everybody safe back to the exhibition in Norway.
