Dick Moores' son William (Bill) Moores wrote the following in a mail to Germund von Wowern in 2009: I do remember that I gave Dad a couple of ideas for some comic book covers that he drew and then paid me $17 each for the two ideas. One was of Donald Duck pouring oil into the violins of the nephews (to stop the squeaking), and the other was Scrooge siting in a parked car waiting for the parking meter to expire
