Before you write a message, please read these guidelines:
Write your text in English. Use a different language only if you can predict who will read and solve your message.
Only write a message if you are certain about the information. If it is about writers or artists, also write the source of your information.
If you want to write a lot of messages, please send an e-mail to us first. There are more efficient ways of entering lots of data into Inducks than using this webpage.
Don't report non-mandatory information like most appearance comments (e.g. "silhouette" or "cameo") or one-shot appearances. They're currently too much work to handle.
Check the actual comics whenever possible. If you only rely on scans or present Inducks data to report an error, say so.
Be patient. Your message might be solved within 5 minutes, but it also might take 5 months. It all depends on the time we have (and we're all volunteers!)
The only response you may get is a simple message saying "solved". Don't be offended by that: we get hundreds of messages per week so we want to spend most of our time actually fixing the errors.

Why this cover has an italian code since in Denmark, Norway, Spain and Greece was published earlier than Italy?
― spe Saturday, Aug 6, 2011, 10:36:18 AM
If a code starts with "I", it means that the item was produced by the Italian publisher. Some other publisher may have published the item earlier than the Italian publisher. I'm not sure if an I-code is correct in this particular case, though.

Ah, OK. Thank you for the clarification.
We'll wait for the Italians to take a look at this then

And this...
― figolfin Friday, Jul 1, 2011, 08:45:51 AM
Oh, and Donald doesn't appear in the story.
― DonHergeFan Friday, Jul 1, 2011, 01:58:47 PM
Please don't write "and this" in an error message. In every message you have to write your complete request.

Donald appears in the title panel. However I've removed him from the xapps now...
― DonHergeFan Sunday, Jul 3, 2011, 09:12:26 PM
Hmm, not correct in my opinion.
DD appears in the first panel. So why not add him as "DD (splashpanel)" to the xapp?
― figolfin Sunday, Jul 3, 2011, 10:18:04 PM
Yes, you're right about my report, sorry for that.
Donald only appears in the image of the subseries, that serves as a "trademark". He doesn't appear in the story. He can't be in the xapp since he isn't part of the story.
― figolfin Sunday, Jul 3, 2011, 10:19:44 PM
And isn't this story part of the "paperviaggi" subseries?
― spe Tuesday, Jul 12, 2011, 09:05:54 AM
DD always appears in the title/splash panel in ZD strips. However, he is not xapped if he *only* appears in that panel. For example, take a look at this story:
https://coa.inducks.o...D+80-06-08 The story has [xapp:LVD] but DD appears in the first panel.

Mabye this sketch should take a greek code, since it was published in Greece 10 years earlier?
― sma Saturday, Jan 2, 2010, 11:25:52 AM
Let's be careful. There's at least 3(?) versions of this item. If they're really for sure the same item then yes.
What's the new code for the item?
― figolfin Saturday, Jan 2, 2010, 12:36:50 PM
Don't worry, I'm familiar with all 3 versions that exist. This one was published in the greek "Κομιξ 61" in 1993. I will upload the scan as soon as I can.
The new code would be Xgr/KX 61
Shall I change it or you?

Sorry for the mistake, the correct code is: Xgr/KX 61

Maybe the cover should get an australian code? The woodpecker is taken from the story and there isn't any other cover like that. That way I can link it to the greek MM 659.

> Maybe the cover should get an australian code?
I assume so. Added a code. I hope the references are correct.

There's been a mix-up with stories I TL 2249-2 and I TL 2249-5.
The scan and description that should be in the page of I TL 2249-2 are currently in the page of I TL 2249-5.
― spe Saturday, Dec 6, 2008, 01:20:37 PM
The FSB and it.dbi use different codes for the same stories. This means that there are errors either in the FSB or in it.dbi, or both.
Additionally, FSB disagrees with br.dbi and gr.dbi about I TL 2249-3. pt.dbi agrees with the FSB, though. Either change FSB+pt.dbi, or br.dbi+gr.dbi.
Additionally, FSB disagrees with br.dbi about I TL 2249-4. Either change FSB, or br.dbi.
Additionally, FSB disagrees with dk.dbi, fi.dbi, gr.dbi, nl.dbi, no.dbi, se.dbi, pl,dbi and de.dbi about I TL 2249-5. Either change FSB, or all of the DBI files.
In some cases, stories have been printed several times in Italy. In all cases, either all, or none, of the Italian prints disagree with the FSB. Either change the FSB, or it.dbi.
― sma Saturday, Jan 10, 2009, 02:44:58 PM
It's about storycodes swapped in FSB to match printed codes.
Storycodes changed in fi.dbi to match the new FSB status.
― jpr Tuesday, Jan 13, 2009, 11:44:43 PM
German file updated to match FSB.

Brazilian file updated to match FSB.

There's nothing to do. I just edited (WOW!) the issue file and corrected the story codes.
― spe Wednesday, Jan 21, 2009, 07:46:43 PM
Changed lots of other issue files.
I TL 2249-3 and I TL 2249-5 are still mixed up in either pt.dbi or br.dbi.
― CGZ Wednesday, Jan 21, 2009, 10:33:31 PM
pt.dbi corrected
― afj Thursday, Jan 22, 2009, 10:03:30 PM
I think the only think wrong now is the English desc of I TL 2249-5 which belongs to I TL 2249-2.
