A partir de este número 171, E.R.S.A. empezó a publicar tres ejemplares de "Dumbo" al mes (cada diez días). El precio de cada ejemplar bajó una peseta (y sería de 3 pesetas), aunque también bajó el número de páginas: de las 28 que tenían antes, ahora serían 20. Posteriormente se volvería al formato de 28 páginas.
