DD hears about a parrot that predicts the future and sets off to buy it, in order to be Duckburg wheatherman. He manages to buy it, but the inhabitants of the village who owned the parrot don't allow him to leave with the parrot. Eventually they force DD to sell back the parrot, because they can't live without him. Though, with the only one forecast about a terrible storm in Duckburg DD hopes to become hero.
