Scrooge and a business partner establish a construction company, using an new and inexpensive material to work quickly though major projects. Scrooge learns too late that his partner is a con-artist. The buildings eventually collapse, leaving a major city in ruins. The partner has already vanished along with all their money. A bankrupt Scrooge has to find a way to both pay reparations and regain his fortune.
