En 1966, un bandit fait sonner des trompettes chez des habitants de Mickeyville. Mickey et Bip-Bip, qui enquêtent, finissent par reconstituer le document, volé par le grand’père du sonneur de trompettes. Mickey devient empereur de « Calidornie », mais l’acte n’est plus valable.
