frFlairsou a acheté la compagnie distribuant l’eau à Donaldville. Picsou, ne voulant pas payer, fait construire par Géo une machine à dessaler l’eau de mer qu’il installe sur une petite île qui lui appartient. Mais Flairsou revendique également la possession de l’île. Pour le tribunal, Picsou doit prouver que l’île est à lui. Picsou rétorque que la preuve se trouve en Écosse. Avec ses neveux, il s’envole pour la Grande-Bretagne, mais Flairsou a posé des pièges et doit atterrir en France. Il fait alors construire le tunnel sous la Manche et atteint son but : le château de ses ancêtres où il retrouve la preuve. Puis, il fait visiter au maire de Donaldville ses réalisation philanthropiques et est acclamé par la population. (by ballandras stéphane, history)

itPer non pagare la bolletta dell'acqua a Rockerduck, zio Paperone costruisce un dissalatore su un'isola vicino alla costa di Paperopoli, ma Rockerduck dice che l'isola è sua, perchè l'ha ereditata dallo "Scozzese Misterioso", suo antenato. Zio Paperone dice che lo "Scozzese Misterioso" è in realtà suo antenato e di possedere una prova che lo dimostra in Inghilterra. Purtroppo lo zione viene messo in galera, e Rockerduck decide di impedirgli di arrivare in Inghilterra dalla Francia con trucchetti vari. A questo punto lo zione costruisce un tunnel sotto la Manica e ci mette dei depuratori d'aria usando come modello il dissalatore e riesce a prendere la prova. (by papik, history)
