When two Duckburg football teams are invited to play in the Bundesliga, US senses big profits from TV and merchandising rights and decides to buy the 1st place team. But he balks at the price and settles on buying the bad also-ran team, and then to save even more money, hires DD to be its manager. The results are as bad as could be expected, but since the money still pours in, US doesn't care until RKD buys the good team.
