MM has to go to Anderville, a big city for tough guys, where he feels not at home. His room mate from the university times, Sonny Mitchel has a private investigation agency there and MM, though he didn't know it, is his partner. In Anderville he gets involved in local mafia and corrupted political issues because of a parcel Sonny had to ship, before he disappeared. Here none of the usual MM tricks seem to work and he has to rely on new friens and fear new enemies.
