fr	Bien qu'à la tête d'une fortune de 6000000000000000006832492,50 de francs, Picsou craint qu'un certain Gripsou se prétende l'homme le plus riche du monde. Lors d'un (très très) long face à face, chacun égrène sa fortune. Lorsqu'il s'avère que les deux canards sont aussi riches l'un que l'autre, il est décidé, pour les départager, de voir lequel des deux possède la plus grosse pelote de ficelle du monde. Les deux canards, aussi pingre l'un l'autre, ont en effet laborieusement récupéré le moindre bout de fil qui traînait sur le trottoir. Les deux plus grosses fortunes du monde déroulent donc leur pelote en pleine nature pour voir lequel possède la plus longue. La compétition est entachée d'irrégularités et de coups fourrés...

När de jämfört sina tillgångar länge och väl kommer de fram till att det enda som kan skilja dem åt är vem som har sparat flest snören och de planerar att rulla ut sina nystan genom halva Afrika för att se vem som är rikast.
