Ellsworth can't stand classical music, so when Mickey decides to attend a concert of the great maestro Pifferowsky (Fifewsky), he waits in the car, and is therefore able to catch the maestro when he turns out to be really a crook who's just hypnotized the whole audience and robbed them blind. He turns the crook in at the police station and is back at the concert hall before Mickey and the rest of the audience wake up.

Description

Because of a technical problem in Scrooge's factory of eyeglasses, a few lenses get damaged. It becomes soon clear that the lenses are endowed with unexpected and wonderful properties: they transform their bearer into an expert in a particular field. Scrooge plans to give the lenses to his employees, in order to increase their productivity; to avoid competition, he tries to take control of the entire market of lens-making. Alas, a craftsman refuses to sell his workshop to Scrooge, who hires a couple of brutes to "convince" him to give way; but the brutes are knocked down by the Beagle Boys, who had been spying Scrooge. The BB become friends with the craftsman, who analyzes Scrooge's eyeglasses and manages to build a super-lens that allows its bearer to find the solution to every problem, simply by looking at the scene through it. The BB use the device to rob the Money Bin, and to frustrate Scrooge's efforts to regain possession of the loot. In the end, the cratfsman (who is a honest guy) realizes he's been had, and provides Scrooge with a new device able to neutralize his previous creation.
