fr	Depuis quelque temps, Donald s'adonne à la philatélie, sa collection est fort belle mais il y manque une pièce de choix: le timbre fuchsia de Guyane de 1856, un timbre unique perdu avec le courrier il y a bien longtemps. C'est ainsi que Donald et ses petits neveux s'envolent vers l'Amérique du Sud à la recherche du timbre unique. Sur place, un vieil homme leur donne un précieux conseil: son aïeul, facteur, transportait la lettre au timbre fuchsia. Il fut enlevé par une tribus d'indiens et leur chef, El Dorado, un colosse au corps recouvert d'or qui a gardé la sacoche postale, fasciné par ses boucles d'argent. Les canards se mettent à la recherche de cet être légendaire.
